JOB TITLE: Process Field Service Engineer
TERRITORY: UK (occasional travel abroad)
BASED: South London / within 1 hours drive of South London
BASIC: £30 - 32k Basic + £3-5k Bonus
PACKAGE: Circa £37k

THE ROLE
This is an excellent opportunity for a Field Service Engineer to join the service team of one of the worlds leading suppliers of bench and process weighing equipment for both industrial and laboratory applications.
To succeed in this role, you must have experience of working in high pressure environments, dealing with instrumentation and control systems, process equipment and production equipment. It would also be beneficial if you have experience within filtration systems, weighing equipment or metal detectors. A good engineering qualification is very important as is the ability to work with both mechanical and electronic systems.
Reporting to the Service Business Manager, you will be required to provide service cover to UK customers, with occasional travel abroad, on the companies range of process weighing equipment and systems, mainly in the Food, Petrochemical and Pharmaceutical industries. Once on site, you will be required to undertake both routine servicing and carry out repair work, including initial fault diagnosis. This will require that you have an analytical approach to problem solving and a willingness to work extended hours at short notice. With a diverse range of products, you must be able to assimilate large amounts of technical information during product training.
You will be meeting with customers at all levels and must be able to communicate effectively to keep them informed of progress of the work in hand. You will generally be working on your own, so you must be able to effectively manage your own time schedules.
In return, the company offers an attractive salary and bonus package of c£37k +

REQUIREMENTS
Background in Process Weighing Equipment
C&G in Electrical / Mechanical discipline (applicable to Servicing equipment)
Experience in Fault Diagnosis
Knowledge of MS Office software (Outlook, Word, Excel, Powerpoint)
Clean driving licence (3 pts acceptable)
Candidates must be eligible to live and work in the UK
