Field Service Engineer - Lifting Equipment
We have a fantastic and exciting opportunity for a Field Service Engineer to install, service and repair Lifting Equipment for one of the leading manufacturers in the Lifting Equipment industry offering an excellent salary and package.
JOB TITLE: Field Service Engineer
TERRITORY: Leeds / Bradford.
BASED: Leeds / Bradford / Wakefield / M62 corridor
BASIC: c£25k + Overtime + Bonus
PACKAGE: £35k+

THE ROLE
Our client is looking for a Service Engineer to cover the Leeds / Bradford area. They already have Service Engineers covering other areas of the UK and are now strengthening their team in this location.
With an ONC of higher qualification on either electrical or mechanical engineering, you will have experience in a Lifting Equipment environment, and you will be able to demonstrate that you have experience of installing, commissioning, servicing, maintaining and repairing electrical, mechanical and hydraulic Lifting Equipment such as Cranes, Gantry Cranes, Hoists, Chain Hoists, Overhead Travelling Cranes, Rope Hoists, Winches, Speed Hoists, Overhung and Extending Cranes, Suspension Cranes, Portal Cranes, Monorails and Slewing Cranes at customer sites. You will have a good working knowledge of Provision and Use of Work Equipment Regulations 1998 (PUWER).
Reporting to the Regional Service Manager, you will be responsible for attending customer sites to carry out both routine and emergency servicing and maintenance on a wide variety of lifting equipment. In addition, you will have some administrative responsibilities, including accurate and timely activity and problem reporting, completion of regulatory and company inspection and examination documentation as appropriate, together with implementation of the company's management procedures, safety procedures and statutory regulations as applicable.
Product-specific training will be provided for the right person. You must also have strong customer service skills.
