This may be to install, which includes moving batteries, commission, service or repair the UPS systems. This may also involve overnight stays, which will be organised and paid for by the company.&lt;br&gt;&lt;br&gt;You will also be required to work a number of Saturdays or Sundays, as a lot of installation, commissioning and maintenance work is completed out of hours due to the demands of the client.  &lt;br&gt;&lt;br&gt;The batteries are changed every five years, so a degree of physical fitness is required to lift and move these batteries. Initially, your product training will be carried out at the Head Office with a view to going to Italy for further training with the parent company; you will then spend time in the field training and &#039;shadowing&#039; an experienced Field Service Engineer.&lt;br&gt;&lt;br&gt;Following the initial training process, you will be &#039;On-Call&#039; on a 24 hour basis for one week for which there is an additional payment on top of your basic salary. The role involves covering the South East of the UK, dependant on where the candidate lives. Duties will involve; &lt;br&gt;&lt;br&gt;-   Installation, service and repair of a full range of Medical Imaging Equipment and     X-Ray systems. &lt;br&gt;-   Faulting and servicing down to component level. &lt;br&gt;-   Dealing with electrical and mechanical issues. &lt;br&gt;&lt;br&gt;The ideal candidate will have several years experience in similar products within the medical or Dental equipment industry.
